Synopsis: You are Player Character, a bandit who is certainly destined for greatness. You live a carefree life and spend your time getting drunk with your bandit buddies, happily pillaging the countryside, until one day when some dastardly knights started attacking the base! The audacity! In your frantic attempt to find something to help you maintain your amazing way of life, you stumble upon a weird book...

Game Information:
Latest Version - 1.12
This is a hypnosis/mind control game made in SRPG Studio. For those unaware, SRPG Studio is used to make turn-based fire emblem-esque games.
Everything is done using what's already available in SRPG Studio, and images used from TOP Character Creator. Unfortunately that means no custom event CGs, because I cannot draw for crap.

If you're interested in more of this garbo, I have some other games below:
Pkmn Hypno Boat - You are a member of Team Rocket. All you have is a lousy Drowzee, and you are told to take over the ship. What better way to accomplish this than to steal the Pokemon of each trainer you defeat! Oh and of course hypnotize each of the female trainers along the way.
Puppet Master - Monsters Demo -Currently in development. Another game in SRPG Studio, this one has more of a focus on using your (weak) units to take control of the enemy units, then using them to battle each other.

I have an error trying to play it says:
Could not launch game
B-Phese 12.
Could anybody help me??
I've never seen that before. A quick search leads me here, maybe you can try it and see if it works? Otherwise I would have no idea.

Can I please get a guide on chapter 19? It has me stumped
Hey there! To progress after that part, go as far as you can with each character's narrative progress (especially Assassin Maid and Village Lass), then have Woodland Hunter and Tower Witch speak to each other while you are in the manor.
There should be an additional NPC when you enter the map compared to if that hasn't been done yet.I played your game, and sheesh... It's good. It's like a cure for my ED with SRPG games. The game becomes harder, but so does my knowledge of the game.
Your creativity is shown throughout this game, which greatly made me enjoy it. Each of the Mind user bosses is tough but joyous to beat. My focus is like how I focus on HOI4, locked in. Also, I beat the game without any casualties. Maybe that's the reason why it's hard, or not.
In short, I love it. I hope you have a good time in life and on your journey as a game developer if you're continuing.
Thanks a lot for your comments! Beating it (or rather, restarting until I finish a level) without casualties is how I intended it to be played, so all good!
I'm developing another game at the moment that is similar to this one, but progress will be slow for a while. I intend to make that one more difficult, but will have a cheat weapon as well.
I'll keep an eye on it. See you then. 😁
Solid game. I enjoy these types of Fire Emblem-esque games even though I’m absolutely dreadful at the strategy involved (I’m too impatient). Many thanks for the cheat weapon.
A question. I was thinking about maybe (eventually) developing my own kind of game with the TOP Character Studio system, but it seems like it comes in many different pieces on DLSite so it’s confusing on which one to buy. Also are you using the program in Japanese or translating the program somehow?
Thanks!
I'm using the program in Japanese (I can read it at an extremely basic level), but it shouldn't be too difficult to figure it out as you're essentially clicking on each option and seeing how the character changes. There's also demo versions you can download as well.
Each volume on DLSite is essentially just a different base body. Of the four that I bought, vol. 8 had the most diversity in my opinion, but you may want another (vol. 9) if you want specifically characters with a large chest, etc.
One thing I would recommend is to find the config.ini file (in the same folder as your .exe file) and increase the accessory_max number. Some of them have it really low by default, making it so you can't add many things at once. (Of course the more things you add, the longer the program takes to load).
Thanks so much for the help! I’ll definitely look into this.
A lot more humor than I'm used to from these sorts of games, which admittedly turns me off to a degree, but I do find it funny. There's a lot of personality in the writing, it helps me appreciate the characters more. I'd say the smut after getting to the manor picks up a bit, and it's pretty good in isolation. As far as a tactics game part of things goes, not particularly hard, the fundamental loop of bait them in -> kill -> go to next group is all that's needed, but I appreciate the thought that goes into the map design. The chests with legitimately useful, unique rewards, little things like the torch placements in the tower map stopping over the wall cheese, or the bones actually disappearing from the map when the skeletons spawn; care clearly went into these things, and I think it's awesome. Overall, I enjoyed the game, and I'd like to see more.
Thank you for the review! Regarding the humor, that would be there to stay (for better or for worse). I did put some effort into the maps, so it's nice to see that other people have noticed as well. I kept this game on the easier side due to early feedback, but plan on making the next one more difficult since there will be less reliance on building units yourself (and for those not interested in the gameplay, cheat weapon as always).
i like it
Sweet idea, I like it.
Glad you like it! If you're interested in similar games, I recommend Forbidden Book by PervyFantasyProductions here as well.
Will you ever do another game like this?
I have two other games linked above! They are "like this one" in the sense that they have turn-based gameplay, and you aren't playing a traditionally good (or arguably even neutral) character. But if you meant a more normal fire emblem style one, that would be unlikely at this time.
Well, I was thinking of more like this villain style and harem.
